According to Perez Hilton -Lauryn Hill is already facing up to three years in prison for federal tax evasion, but now New Jersey is going after her for not paying taxes too!
The state issued a civil judgement in June which found the Fugee owed $446,386 in unpaid taxes.
Fortunately for her, those charges won't lead to more jail time since the debt is a civil liability as opposed to a criminal one.
We hope this gurl can get her life back in order after this financial
and legal blow. We'll find out in November whether or not she's going
to prison and if so, how long she'll be there.
