Video: Mariah Carey fights off Nicki Minaj on American Idol; and Nicki Retaliates

The striking Wednesday night on American Idol was hilarious for me as Nicki Minaj was subtly put in her place by Mariah Carey after Nicki tried to interrupt Mariah's critique of a contestant. Mariah cut Nicki off quick saying and i quote:

"Again, back to the Billboard HOT 100 No. 1 song - which you just performed - which is difficult to get - not everybody has that - to their credit -  it's difficult to get."

Obviously Nicki Minaj lacks No. 1 hits. and Mariah Carey has 18 of them. More than any other artist and second only to The Beatles overall. wait for it... and yes Nicki fired back. after the cut...


Nicki wanted to shed off being shaded by Mariah Carey on American Idol, she took to Twitter and called Mariah Carey bitter and insecure... WTf?

 

How dare you Nicki- i still love you though!
