Gunmen invade MTN office in Maiduguri, destroy six mast, kill four

Unknown gunmen on Wednesday killed four, and set six telecommunication mast ablaze at the  MTN office in Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital in North-East Nigeria.

A staff of the telecoms company told Channels Television that the State Security Service (SSS) had actually warned the management of the company earlier that there was going to be an attack, but no one knew where and when it would occur.

This attack is the latest in an ongoing insurgency in the troubled North-East.
