President Jonathan's Visit paralyses Victoria Island

Traffic is at a standstill in parts of Victoria Island, Lagos due to a security lockdown arising from President Goodluck Jonathan’s presence in the upscale district.
Reports said vehicles were barred from Ahmadu Bello Way, which is home to a number of government establishments, private concerns and posh residential properties.
Security agents only allowed pedestrians on the major link road.
Jonathan was at the unveiling of a seaward defence boat at the Nigerian Navy dockyard on Ahmadu Bello Way.
There were initial fears that security agents were moving Boko Haram suspects to a secret location in the posh district.
