Psquare and Jude Okoye's Mom passes Away

The mother of Paul, Peter and Jude Okoye has sadly passed on. Mrs Josephine Okoye died last night in a hospital in India where she had been flown to for medical treatment. The nature of her illness was not disclosed. The devastated twin brothers, their elder brother Jude and manager may fly to India today to receive the body of their mum. So sad. May her soul rest in peace...Amen.

Senate confirms first Nigeria female Chief Justice

 

Confirming the appointment of Justice Mukhtar after a screening session, Senate President David Mark said it was the hope of the Senate that the new Chief Justice would be able to “improve the public perception of the judiciary and also to ensure that there is steady dispensation of justice.”
“We can only pray that Justice Mukhtar will improve on the condition in which she found the judiciary at the moment. We will work together with the judiciary and the executive arm of government to ensure that there is justice, equity, and fairness and there is progress and discipline in the country.”
Justice Mukhtar had during the screening promised to reposition the judiciary and deal with the “bad eggs giving the judiciary a negative image” in order to regain the trust of Nigerians.

Usher's 11yr old stepson declared brain dead after tragic acident

Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond's 11 year old son, Kyle Glover, was critically injured in a jet ski accident on Lake Lanier on Saturday July 7th. Kyle and a friend, a 15 year old girl, were being pulled in an inner tube when a 38 year old man on a jet ski crashed into them, striking Kyle in the head and knocking him unconscious. He was airlifted to Atlanta's Egelston Hospital, where doctors battled to save his life.

Tameka, who was not in town at the time, was flown home on a private jet chartered by Usher, who remains by her side.

Unfortunately now TMZ is reporting that doctors have declared the 11 year old brain dead. He has experienced zero brain activity since the accident. So sad. May God intervene!
