Five high-ranking officials in South Africa have been suspended as the government investigates security breaches during a society wedding.

The justice minister said three police officers had also been arrested.
A wealthy Indian family was allowed to land a private jet at a military base near the capital, Pretoria.
The Gupta family, which flew in guests reportedly including Bollywood film stars and Indian government officials, has denied any wrongdoing.

Obviously Nicki Minaj lacks No. 1 hits. and Mariah Carey has 18 of them. More than any other artist and second only to The Beatles overall. wait for it... and yes Nicki fired back. after the cut...

US tanker plane 'crashes in Kyrgyzstan after take off'

 

BBCNews- A US cargo plane has crashed after taking off from an airbase in Kyrgyzstan, local reports say.

The tanker aircraft had left the US Manas airbase near the capital Bishkek, officials told AFP.
The emergency situations ministry said the plane had broken into three pieces but information about casualties has yet to be released.
Seven crew members died when a US civilian cargo plane crashed at Bagram airbase in Afghanistan on Monday.

Missing Pennsylvania woman reappears 11 years later in Florida Keys

(CNN) -- A Pennsylvania woman who mysteriously disappeared 11 years ago has resurfaced in Florida, saying that she just walked out on her family, her life and her problems.

Brenda Heist, 54, turned herself into authorities in Key Largo, Florida on Friday, informing them that she thought she might be wanted in another county.

The responding officer checked her name and saw that she was listed as "missing and possibly deceased" from Lititz, Pennsylvania, according to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office in Florida.

Authorities in Monroe County immediately contacted the Lititz Borough Police, informing them that Heist was in their custody.

After exchanging pictures and details, Detective Sgt. John Schofield confirmed that it was indeed the Brenda Heist he had been searching for since 2002.

"Two days later, I flew down to Florida to meet with her," said Schofield.

'Kris Kross' DEATH- Excess of Cocaine & Heroin Suspected

 

"Kris Kross" rapper Chris Kelly had been using a combination of cocaine and heroin the night before his death, this according to the police report obtained by TMZ.

According to the report, cops responded to Kelly's home Wednesday afternoon and found the 34-year-old lying on the living room couch.

Both paramedics who arrived to the scene said Kelly was unresponsive and had "no life signs." They attempted to revive Kelly, to no avail.

The US Govt cited various human rights violations by Nigerian security forces, particularly the military, over the killing of dozens and destruction of hundreds of residences in Baga, a town in Borno State on April 16th and 17th.

75 year old Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands abdicated yesterday April 30th after 33 years as queen and handed over her throne and crown to her eldest son at a ceremony that held on the balcony at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. 46 year old Willem-Alexander will be the first King of the Netherlands since 1890. The former queen will now be addressed as Princess Beatrix.

Kris Kross Rapper Chris Kelly Dies at 34

According to FOX 5 in Atlanta, Kelly was found unconscious in his home and was pronounced dead around 5:30PM EST at the south campus of the Atlanta Medical Center.

As part of Kris Kross, Kelly shot to super stardom in the '90s with the group's mega hit, "Jump."  They were also famous for wearing their clothing on backwards.

Back in February -- Kelly and his rap partner, Chris "Daddy Mac" Smith, reunited for a long overdue performance.
