it is rebased later this year to more accurately reflect changes is in
the economy over the last two decades.
Analysts, however, say the much-delayed exercise may moderate growth.

Bank.
“Because Nigeria is growing faster than South Africa it is likely to become the largest economy on the continent.”

Nicki Minaj covers Elle.+interview
(Thomas Whiteside/Elle)In addition to tardiness, Nicki Minaj – who showed up nearly 15 minutes late
for Wednesday's "American Idol" live show – is known for her colorful,
often outrageous looks that feature everything from hot pink hair to
multicolored bustiers to retro makeup.
But in the new issue of Elle magazine, the Pink Friday
singer undergoes a dramatic makeunder that has her wearing more neutral
colors on her body and face. She's even without her signature pink
pucker!"When I saw myself with barely any makeup at, it was such a… like, I'm so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it's hard," the 30-year-old admits to the mag. "I feel that it's become a part of me. To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol' crazy lashes - you know, nothing – I felt naked. It was scary! So this photo shoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes."
The "American Idol" judge bares a lot for the interview, too, as she talks candidly about adjusting when her family relocated from her native Trinidad and Tobago to NYC when she was just 5. more pics after the cut...
Bye-Bye Tiger Woods, Hello another Billionaire;-)
Elin Nordegren has a new man in her life.
The former Mrs. Tiger Woods, 33, is reportedly dating billionaire coal magnate Chris Cline, a neighbor in her upscale North Palm Beach, Florida, community called Seminole Landing.
"Elin was introduced to Chris by a local friend because they seem to have a lot in common," a source told People, noting that they've been dating casually and non-exclusively since the holidays. "They both have children, like to keep their personal lives quiet, believe in philanthropy, and enjoy leisure outdoor activity."
Just who is this guy? Here are five facts about Cline:
He's a college dropout, just like Woods. The 55-year-old Cline attended Marshall University in his home state of West Virginia, but he left before graduating to join the same industry that his grandfather and father had been in before him. Cline founded the thriving company Foresight Energy, and his career was praised by the local Herald-Dispatch newspaper in 2011 as "one of the industry's great success stories." Not exactly a walking ad for higher education, is he?
Do you know Why Pope Francis Only Has One Lung
Pope Francis is a pioneering pontiff in many ways — he’s the first to take the name of Francis, the first pope from South America, and the first to don the papal robes with one lung.
According to the Associated Press,
the new Pope had one of his organs removed as a teenager, presumably
after a bout with an infection. At that time, it’s possible that
antibiotic treatments that are commonly used today to treat such
infections were not as available, and to protect patients from further
health problems doctors removed the lung as way to stop the infection
from spreading.
“It was probably a pretty bad infection, and maybe even an abscess, that might have caused him to bleed,” says Dr. John Belperio, association professor of pulmonary and critical care medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California Los Angeles. “If he were bleeding a lot in the lung, the only thing to do is to resect the lung, take it out, to stop the bleeding.”

after reading this article, you would really want to know what the right exercises/moves are... guess what...
To see real results in as little as four weeks, combine a few moves into a total-body strength-training session. Do it three times a week, leaving a rest day in between, and add three sessions of calorie-burning cardio on top of it. Then, load your grocery cart with foods rich in protein, fiber, and other nutrients--they'll give you the energy you need to power through your workouts, says Chicago fitness expert Lisa Payne.

Ribena Brand Name to br SOLD
I have learnt that Blackstone is preparing to make an offer for the brands if their current owner, the drugs giant GlaxoSmithKline (Other OTC: GLAXF - news) , puts them up for sale as expected.
The two brands, which have annual sales of more than £400m, have been designated as non-core assets by Sir Andrew Witty, GSK's Chief Executive, and are expected to be put on the auction block within months.
"They're great brands but they don't naturally tick the boxes for where I think the core synergy of the company sits," Sir Andrew said last month. "Every option is on the table. If there's an option out there that can do any better with them than us, that'd be great."
City analysts value Lucozade and Ribena at more than £1bn, with some arguing that they could be worth as much as £1.5bn.
