Hausa Man Caught Selling VULTURE as Fried Chicken

For y'all who like eating "SUYA" or "roastMeat" be it beef or chicken and you live in Port Hacourt, sorry is your middle name...:-) 

This aboki Hausa man was caught trapping vultures with snuff in Onne, Port Harcourt roasting and selling them as roasted chicken for people to buy. He said he has been doing this business for sometimes now. Please those of you that eat roasted chicken from road side in Akajo and Onne or Eleme as a whole beware, because some of these people that roast chicken do mixed them with vulture and customer will not know they will buy and eat. Please be very care about what you buy and put in your mouth... cos it may be a Vultures meat...haha!

Hundreds of passengers stranded, Time wasted as Arik suspends domestic flights

Hundreds of local passengers were stranded at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos on Thursday as the country’s largest commercial carrier, Arik Air, decided to suspend its domestic flights after aviation unions disrupted activities at the airport.

The President, Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, Mr. Benjamin Okewu, told journalists on Thursday that the unions decided to ground the operations of Arik over alleged failure to pay service charges it owed government agencies such as the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria; Nigerian Airspace Management Agency; and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

Lewd Hip Hop singer, Yemi Quadri a.k.a. Skalley Menta, kept a date with the police at Agbado Crossing Police Station, Ayila, Ogun State, southwest Nigeria, after he allegedly stabbed Femi Ariyo alias DJ Kelvin. Skalley and Kelvin are close friends and are always together at most events.
On the day of the incident, Skalley was said to have invited Kelvin to an event at Somolu area of Lagos State, and on their way back, the two friends in company of two other ladies stopped at Fela’s Shrine where they bought plates of noodles before proceeding to Oke-Aro in Ogun State.

President Jonathan May Reverse Introduction Of Single N5,000 Note

Barely 24 hours after the National Assembly vowed to move against the proposed currency restructuring exercise and the introduction of N5,000 banknote by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), there are  indications that the project may be shelved.

Investigations showed that President Goodluck Jonathan met behind closed doors with the leadership of the National Assembly on Tuesday night where the two arms of government reviewed the project and agreed in principle to explore the possibility of shelving it.

Unaware of pregnancy, British soldier delivers on battleline in Afghanistan

A British soldier who did not realise she was pregnant has given birth to a baby boy at the Camp Bastion field hospital in Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Defence (MOD) in London said mother and baby were in stable condition and a specialist “Paediatric Retrieval Team” would fly out from Britain to care for them during the long flight home.
“It is not military policy to allow servicewomen to deploy on operations if they are pregnant. In this instance, the MOD was unaware of her pregnancy,” the ministry said.
The Daily Mail newspaper, which first reported on the birth, said the woman herself was unaware of the pregnancy.

The Chief Judge of Lagos Set Free 233 Kirikiri Prison Inmates

The Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Ayotunde Phillips, yesterday Tuesday September 18th granted freedom to 233 prisoners. 130 inmates from Kirikiri Maximum Prison and another 103 inmates from Kirikiri Medium Prison. Most of the 233 inmates released yesterday have been in prison for more than 12 awaiting trials.

The Chief Justice ordered their release after listening to some cases during a visit to the Kirikiri prisons yesterday as part of the activities marking the 2012/2013 Legal Yea.

The military Joint Task Force today further dealt a massive blow to the operational capabilty of the terrorist group Boko Haram following a successful operation launched at the group’s command and control center in Kano.

Reecall that two members of the sect had been captured yesterday after a gun battle with the military and officers of the SSS. One of those captured is believed to be Abu Qada, the group’s spokesman and “media coordinator.”

The judge in a french court this morning ruled in Kate Middleton's favour in the first part of the lawsuit concerning the topless photo scandal.
According to the robed law king, the photos may not be published again in France. And Closer must give the originals to Kate and Prince William.
As a St. James’s Palace spokesperson said, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcome the judge’s ruling."
Of course, this is only Battle One. Since the ruling can only apply in France, Kate and Willy will have to go further to make sure the same can be said for other countries. Furthermore...
