Morenike Popoola kidnapped in Lagos

Morenike Popoola was kidnapped around 9:30 -10 last night in Amuwo-Odofin on her way home. Her car, a wine-coloured Toyota Corolla Sports car was also taken, but was recovered very early this morning around Kirikiri.

Morenike's abductors contacted her family this morning but made no specific demands, just said they will call back.

Another Student shot dead by Gunmen: RIP Chioma Obikel

This is now becoming an evil trend that i really do not appreciate at all! Now 23 year old Chioma Obikel who was a 400L Medical Student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State. Mz Nwosu was shot by unknown gunmen who stopped the car she was traveling in on Friday August 31st. Chioma was trying to escape when she was shot. She later died in the hospital.

Chioma will be buried this Thursday September 13th in her hometown. May her soul rest in peace...amen!

Damilola Adegbite quits Tinsel

We all know her from the popular tv series on Mnet Tinsel; After four years of playing Telema Duke in the hit M-Net TV soap, Tinsel, Damilola Adegbite's management announced her exit from the TV series. They didn't give any reasons why she left other than:
       'it was a professional career decision that had to be made' and they also didn't say if she would be replaced on Tinsel.

Despite leaving Tinsel, Damilola still plans to pursue her acting career, maybe Nollywood full time.

According to the inscription on this photo, most of us are quite guilty... we don't want to break free and yet nothing physically is holding us down, just our silly mentality. We know what we're supposed to do, yet we give silly excuses and find more reasons as to why we shouldn't!

If we look around us and check ourselves thoroughly, we would somehow realize that the only thing holding us back is actually "US"! 

Just like the horse, or just as i like to call them, "Horsey" in the photo, virtually has nothing holding it back from escaping, yet it stood still, because that mentality of always in captivity held it back.

We should try and free ourselves from metal slavery and captivity in other for us to break every stronghold and move forward... bless

Another Female student shot dead: RIP Wunmi Adebayo

Another student also have become a victim.... this time a female student of Tai Solarin University of Education. According to classmates and friends of the slain student who sent out the story, Wunmi Adebayo (pictured above) was shot dead last night at a male friend's house at Golden Estate in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state.

The 200level student was visiting the friend when they were attacked by armed robbers who robbed them and shot her in the face because she fought them off when they tried to rape her.

The 21 year old was buried today at Ijebu Ode according to Islamic rites. Her friends say she was very jovial, friendly and kind hearted. Her candlelight procession will hold tomorrow at skyfield in Lagos.
