Nigerian Beats the odds Graduates with 4.0CGPA out of 4.0 in University of Texas

24 year old Nigerian, Uwa Osamede Imafidon, just graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in the US with Masters degree in Microbiology and made a 4.0 CGPA out of the maximum 4.0 CGPA.

She had earlier bagged a First Class Degree in Crop Science from University of Benin, as the Best Graduating student in her Department.

US sprinter Justin Gatlin beat six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt in the men's 100 metres race at the Rome Golden Gala, Diamond League, which took place on Thursday this week. Justin Gatlin beat Usain by one-hundredth of a second, that's like 1% of a second. Justin actually had to dip his head over the line to win in 9.94 seconds. Usain came in 9.95. nothing is forever*

Prolific music producer and singer Skillz of the JJC was involved in a ghastly motor accident early this morning in Ogba, Ikeja. A trailer which breaks failed rammed into the side of his Nissan Altima car, badly damaging the back door. JJC and the other passenger in the car were shaken but unhurt. thank God!

Tragedy: Babcock student loses 8 family members in car accident on their way to her graduation

One of Babcock's best graduating student, Margaret Okwuikpo, lost eight members of her family in a horrific auto accident on Friday May 31st in Port Harcourt. Margaret's father, grandmother, sisters, brothers and a cousin were on their way to her graduation ceremony, which was to take place on Sunday June 2nd, when the commercial bus they were traveling in crashed.

Margaret's mum, brother-in-law and two other people survived the accident and are being treated in the hospital.
