Military Chiefs Outraged Over Jonathan’s Plan to Grant Boko Haram Amnesty
Culled from Sahara Reporters-
A new plan by President Goodluck Jonathan to grant
amnesty to members of the violent Boko Haram sect has upset Nigeria’s
military chiefs.
They were said to have told him the security implications of the action and that it could also be interpreted to mean that the President is not a man of his word. Mr. Jonathan has flip-flopped on federal policy against Boko Haram since he took office in 2010.

Beyonce and Jay-Z celebrate fifth wedding anniversary in Cuba
The 31-year-old singer cut a striking image, with her hair styled into cornrows.
She was wearing a patterned yellow ensemble which showed off her legs while rapper Jay-Z, 43, looked like the quintessential tourist in shorts, a blue T-shit and hat.
FG's approved Amnesty Charter:
The amnesty package proposed by northern elders and approved by the presidency is as follows:
1. A ministry of Northern affairs must be established like the Niger Delta Ministry.
2. Each Boko haram member who embraces the amnesty will receive an
initial cash reward of 3 million naira to start up a business.
3. Boko haram members who embrace the amnesty program will be giving a house by the FG
4. Boko haram leaders who embraced the amnesty program will be giving a
cash gift of 20 million naira each and other juicy packages will also
follow

MERMAN found! ;-)
Ducharme is a self-proclaimed merman, a mystical male counterpart to the mermaid. As the legend goes, these seductive sea creatures with the upper body of a human and the tail of a fish, make themselves visible to ships during thunder storms and would lure the opposite sex into the water with their siren-like singing.
Tweet about 'Daily Show' boomerangs on US Embassy
That's the lesson the U.S. Embassy in Cairo is learning the hard way after being rebuked by both the Egyptian government and the State Department for causing an international incident. The embassy tweeted a link to a Jon Stewart monologue that mocked Egypt's
president — offending the Egyptians — and then deleted its entire
Twitter account before restoring it without the post in question,
irritating Washington.
Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi's
office called the tweet "inappropriate" and unbecoming of a diplomatic
mission while the State Department said the unusual affair was the
result of "glitches" in the embassy's social media policies that are now
being corrected.
Breastfeeding for Six Months Can Significantly Cut Risk of Cancer Death—Study Finds
Sometime ago, i got a broadcast on my phone which stated that women should allow men suck their breast to reduce the risk of breast cancer and now infact, i have a better one even for the married and expectant mothers. Enjoy ;-)
Women still confused by the breast milk vs. formula debate may want to listen up, as a new study has found exclusively breastfeeding your baby for at least six months could cut your chances of dying from cancer and all other diseases by 17 percent—and death by heart disease alone by 8 percent.
The mass study, published online Wednesday in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, examined breastfeeding and other lifestyle recommendations from the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) and its umbrella World Cancer Research Fund International and their effects on nearly 380,000 people in several European countries over 13 years.
It found that both women and men could cut their risk of death on average by a third, simply by adhering to one or several healthy lifestyle choices: keeping lean but not underweight, eating a plant-based diet, being active for at least 30 minutes daily, avoiding sugary drinks and highly caloric foods, lowering meat intake, and limiting alcohol intake.
But findings on the additional breastfeeding recommendation for women represented perhaps the freshest recommendation in the mix. lol more after the cut...
