Our economy cannot support brand new trains - Doyin Okupe says.

In an interview with Adeola Fayehun of Sahara TV, Presidential aide Doyin Okupe said Nigeria cannot have brand new trains because our economy cannot support it. He was reacting to a question on why trains seen in Nigeria are looking very Locomotive compared to the ones in America and he said...

"Forget it. We are not America. You cannot have brand new trains because the economy cannot support that."he said 

Asked why Nigeria economy cannot support the purchase of brand new trains since we have been quoted as the largest economy in Africa, Dr Okupe only said; "We are the largest market. We are the largest economy" and the video fades out.
